Pairs Events
Eden Cup and Murchie-Lerner
From 2008 this is a two session one-day quali-final. The higher ranked pairs after the first session (between one third to half of the pairs entered) play for the Eden Cup, whilst the remainder play for the Murchie-Lerner. The top two pairs in the Eden Cup qualify to represent the county in the Corwen Trophy provided that Northants is their county of primary allegiance. National Pairs
Heats run by clubs are open to EBU members only. The regional final is held in March/April with qualifications for the National Final. Players may play in the heat of their choice. Please contact the Secretary of the host club if intending to play as a visitor. Northampton require 7 days notice of entry.  
Geoff Walshaw Cup
Knock-out rubber bridge event. Open to anyone, starts early August.  

Teams of Four
Winter League
Six linked multiple teams events from September to February, split into 2 sections. One section is held at Stamford on Saturdays and the other at Northampton on Wednesdays. The winners of each contest a head-to-head play-off for the Winter League trophy.  
Broke Cup and Betts Bowl
Knock out event, entries by end of August. First round losers compete for Betts Bowl (Level 3 conventions). Winners continue in the Broke Cup (Level 4 conventions). Winners of the Broke Cup represent the County in the Pachabo, provided that Northants is their county of primary allegiance.  
Kettering Trophy
Two session event held on the same day as the Lakeland.  

Teams of Eight
Inter-Club League
Divisional league for club teams. Play each team home and away. Contact the League Secretary for details.  
Lakeland
Two session multiple teams inter-club championship. Winners qualify for the Garden Cities Trophy.
